This 111 year old building was once An electric powerhouse before it was converted into a winery.

Because The LaSalle Winery was converted from an electric powerhouse several unique features were added in order to produce wine. One of these features is a series of concrete vats which were used for aging some of the wines at the winery. These vats were made of poured concrete much like a basement is made today. The only way to get inside was through a small opening less than 2 feet tall and one foot wide. Not everyone was able to get out of these vats. Unfortunately they were left for dead and perished. It is these tormented souls who Haunt the Old LaSalle Winery.
These vats were built in the early 1930's and were made of concrete and lined with window glass to seal the vats to keep the wine inside. Because it was the time of the Great Depression, rather than take the time and spend valuable financial resources to give these men a proper Christian burial, the winery owners instructed their employees to seal any remaining openings entombing, in some cases still living men.

In the mid 1970's the current owners were renovating this old building. They unsealed these vats and unknowingly released untold chaos into the world.
If you dare visit we advise you to pray for these lost souls...and for yourself.
